In September, Scott took part in the Canada-wide Word on the Street literary festival promoting his new hardcover NORTHWEST PASSAGE collection. Scott was signing at both the Halifax and Toronto festivals and also gave brief presentations.

In Halifax, he spoke about the subject of Historical Comics on Graphic Novels and Young Adult Readers Stage. In Toronto, he was on a panel called "Creating the Great Canadian Graphic Novel" which also features cartoonists Jeff Lemire (Tales from the Farm) and Zach Worton.

JASON SCHNEIDER - Another Quirky Book
sto_js2

Jason Schneider's most recent illustration contribution is to the newly released best selling author Joshua Piven's book "Bad Vs. Worse" published by Penguin Books Ltd.

This is Joshua's second book from his "The Worst Case Scenario Handbook" series. This new book is a survival guide for making more of those "lose-lose" decisions in our modern world. It's a must read for those who need the pro's and con's in deciding who to choose to cater your next party. Ninjas or Neanderthals? Or, decide which would you rather have as a house pet, Jaws or Godzilla? Joshua gives you the low down.

ROBERT BIRON - Map Illustrationssto_rb1

LAURA WALLACE - Retro Exhibit
sto_lw2 Laura takes inspiration from retro motifs and mannerisms from which she can be articulate and use bold strokes or handle her lines and color subtly and flowingly. Laura also creates images and motifs for corporate clients, packaging, retailer's POP display and educational collateral.
